養牠還是害牠？
香港仍有不少人自私地堅持要養貓捉老鼠，養狗看門口，但從未有關心過和愛惜過這些生命。
或者以"有幾十年養貓／狗經驗"的一套舊思想，繼續以自生自滅的方法去飼養動物。
結果是令動物受苦，生靈塗炭，有時連街坊也會為小動物不值，飼主遭人白眼。
看看以下一些真實情況，試問連基本照料也做不到，是養還是害？
Keeping or ruining them?
Still, many selfish people in Hong Kong are making use of cats' and dogs' instincts to serve their own needs e.g. pest control and guarding properties. Sadly, these innocent lives receive no care nor basic treatment in return.
Some people claiming themselves as "experienced dog/cat owners" but having no basic concept of animal welfare at all.
Their animals suffer both physically and mentally, some may even die painfully. Disgraceful keepers usually have no pity or regrets about them.
Animals are being kept without proper food, medical care, shelter nor freedom. So, " keeping" or " ruining"?
餵廚餘
Left-over Food
食剩飯餸、餐廳回收廚餘，不但不衛生, 已變壞，還不夠食，牠們就算有人飼養都要每天去垃圾堆尋找食物。
Keepers feed the animals with dirty and already turned bad left-over food from their own plate/lunch box or collect from the restaurants. When the food supply is barely enough to share among the pack,
the animals will have to dig in the rubbish dips to look for other food.
一年365日每日24小時長綁長困，狗狗只是看守財物的免費工具，終生捱餓直到死去，到時換上另一隻新狗去填補終生監禁位置。
Being chained-up or locked-up for 7/24 365days a year in order to guard the properties without enough food and clean water. Their duty position will be replaced by another dog soon after they die.

沒有絕育，以幾何級數量增加，由得自生自滅/胡亂送人/棄掉。
The number of animals multiplied quickly if the keeper refuses to desex the animals. Animals are mistreated, abandoned or given to "anyone" without considering animals' welfare.

Zero medical care
動物是生物，當然也會生病受傷，很多時更是因為飼養的人疏忽照顧引起，但他們不願負上應有責任，為動物醫冶。
Keepers do not want to take responsibility when the animals fall ill or injured, even caused by neglect.
貪得意
They are just a toy
小貓小狗細細隻好可愛，有些人會貪得意飼養，但從沒有打算負起對生命的責任。 Young pups and kittens are small and adorable. They are not "just" a toy but many people seem to ignore the responsibility when taking them in.

No shelter
露天貨倉/車場根本沒有遮風擋雨的地方
No shelter in the industrial lands to protect the animals from sun, rain and storm
村民、貨倉、車場會搬走/ 結業/ 被收地 - 人去樓空，留下一堆又一堆無辜的貓貓狗狗。
When the villagers or buiness close down/land being taken back or any reason, keepers leave but leave the innocent animals behind.
